Masthead

 

A masthead is a recurring theme in a magazine. After researching and analyzing different magazines I realized that mastheads usually depicted the name of the magazine itself. I decided to take time and come up with my magazines name, “Youth Renown”, and came up with the following mastheads.

      Donald Glover released his track This Is America in 2018, and it quickly gained popularity. The music video racked up 11M likes and over 800M views on Youtube.      In 2019 the single won four Grammy's, Awards for Best Music Video, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Melodic Rap Performance. Heavy Decisions

      At first glance, when thinking of what I would do for my magazine the first thing that came to my head was sports. Turns out, after thinking deeper, I realized that I am going to do a mental health magazine focusing on stress.      E ven to others this was different but a good different. When I started speaking to one of my close friends Sofia I was trying to get inspiration from her process and she thought I would do sports but it was stress that I decided to go with, something else that makes up a huge part of me.     I began to ponder about what I could do with this important topic and I knew I wanted to do something with music.
