Cover Decisions
After my first photoshoot I designed the cover on the left which displayed my initial vision for the cover. However, two weeks later I went to a different beach and took the photo on the right and decided to make that into another cover. Once I made both covers, I fixed them both by designing the font with colors respective to my color palette and formatted my sell lines differently. When both were finalized I had to decide which cover to use and ultimately went with the one on the right because its simplicity and color gradient captured was exactly what I wanted for my magazine. The sky blue and the mix of orange on the sunrise matched the colors on my color palette and the sell line formation fit better as well.
